HUNTERS WHARF
at Breakfast Point
Mar 15
Thieves have been targeting the letterboxes around Breakfast Point in recent weeks. It appears that the thefts occur at night by a group who probably has a master key to access letterboxes. As they rifle through the letterboxes looking for letters they throw any 'junk mail' on the footpath. Letters left in letterboxes overnight are their target.
In one case the thieves got access to a new debit card and stole $5,000 from an account. The police have warned that they will likely use stolen electricity and gas accounts to steal your identity.

Changes will shortly be made to the security systems controlling the Entry and Exit doors to the garage area. The changes follow several thefts from garages after the loss of a set of keys. Investigations by members of The Building Sub Committee have identified a number of ways to improve security.
Upon installation all residents will be required to register their entry and exit fobs. Details will be advised at the time.
The next meeting of the Executive Committee is to be held on Tuesday evening 17 Apr at 6.30pm in the Meeting Room of the Country Club.
Owners are encouraged to attend these meetings to keep abreast of matters that are being discussed and decided and to let the Executive Committee know what they think. The Strata Schemes Management Act allows Owners to ask to be allowed to address the meeting on any subject.
